How to confirm COD orders before shipping (WhatsApp guide)

The single biggest mistake new COD sellers make is shipping every order without confirming it. The result is fake numbers, refused parcels, and delivery fees that eat your margin. Confirming an order before it ships — usually one WhatsApp message — is the cheapest, highest-return habit in cash-on-delivery e-commerce.

Why confirmation works

A confirmation message filters intent. Customers who placed a fake or impulse order rarely reply to confirm, so you never pay to ship to them. Those who confirm are far more likely to take delivery. You ship less, but a much larger share of what you ship is actually delivered.

Manual confirmation with wa.me links

You don't need any API to start.
